Most teens likes chocolate. This food does not look at the factors age group or sex, because the benefits are considerable.

Chocolate is assumed to be able to lower your risk of heart attack. Consuming several pieces of pure chocolate every day can lower your risk of dying from a heart attack in nearly 50% of cases. This opinion was expressed by a researcher from Johns Hopkins University School, USA. In his research revealed that the formation of blood clots / thrombus in chocolate eaters are much slower than those not eating chocolate. This is of course a lot of truth because of thrombus formation that are too large will cause clogged heart arteries and can cause heart attacks.

Revealed also that flavanols contained in cocoa beans has a biochemical effect of lowering the formation of blood clots that is similar to the workings of aspirin but the effect is certainly lower than aspirin. Some other opinions that develop in the usefulness hubunganya chocolate in lowering the risk of cardiovascular disease include: lowering blood pressure, lower LDL cholesterol oxidation, and has anti-inflammatory effects. Unfortunately it still needs further research to obtain more accurate results.

Chocolate can lower blood pressure and reduce insulin resistance. According to research conducted in Italy by comparing 15 healthy people who are given chocolate containing flavanols and chocolate that does not contain flavanols and then observed for 15 days, it was found that insulin resistance (diabetes risk factors) in the group that had consumed chocolate flavanols, very much decreased. Systolic blood pressure also decreased in this group.

Chocolate can improve blood circulation arteries.

Healthy people who consumed high cocoa flavanols according to experts who have good arterial blood circulation. Expressed also in people who consume chocolate diligent high flavanols, the ability to relax blood vessels is very high. Of course all this is very useful for heart health.

As disclosed in the beginning, unfortunately, not all chocolate on the market contain high antioxidant flavonoids.

There is only one important note to remember, that more and more content of pure chocolate in a chocolate product, the higher levels of antioxidants.

Also, do not forget the calories contained in the chocolate. One hundred grams of chocolate that are sold on the market contain about 150 calories.

So, all the benefits of chocolate would disappear in case of other foods that contain calories consumed are also high that calorie consumption is too high. This certainly is not beneficial for your diet program.
